Welcome to The Scene Score blog — where we go deeper on the venues, cities, and scoring methodology behind the rankings.

How we score

Every venue receives three scores from 1-10:

• Aesthetic — visual design, decor, lighting, Instagram-worthiness
• Energy — noise level, crowd vibe, pace of service
• Food — menu quality, drink program, culinary ambition

Scores are computed from a multi-signal pipeline that analyzes review sentiment, photo quality, and local curation. This gives you an opinionated, dimensional view that Yelp stars and Google volume can't match.

What we cover

Seven metros and counting: New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, and Orange County. Every spot is scored, ranked, and filterable by vibe, occasion, and neighborhood.
